Project 365 // Day 145

145/365

This morning we were unexpectedly offered a pair of tickets to tonight’s Red Sox tickets by my wife’s co-worker. I though, “Great always plenty of photo ops at the ball game.”  So I really didn’t take any shots all day expecting to shoot tonight.  Around 5:00pm (we head into the city around 5:30pm) I decided I didn’t want to bring the camera in.  So I shot what was nearest.

FWIW, I did shoot a couple shots from my seat at the game with my cameraphone.

    Simply. Spifficated.

Damn, I love the look and feel of a baseball stadium during a night game. And if’n one of the two is the only option, someone who knows how to work a camera’ll do.

I can almost hear the sound of crunching peanut shells ‘neath my feet.

    And it’s glorious …..

    Angel eyes, ya right!

Those are the eyes of a convicted dandelion seed blower.

You saw a great game: Wake v Unit and a solid win!

    Fenway’s still a dump.

    Viva Moss!

Damn it - Fenway shots always make me WICKED jealous. Rick’s right- you saw a great game. You got to see Kevin Cash hit his first homer in 3 years AND get intentionally walked. A confluence of events that will never happen again I am sure.

(oh, yeah, regarding the actual subject of the posting…I miss her too)

I believe I turned to the people I was with and said “Kevin Freakin’ Cash!?” when he launched that homer.

The ride home to almost as long as the game. Damn repaving on the expressway.

I was on a Skype call with Mom (when Cash hit it) and I could hear Dad in the other room cry out in amazement and disbelief. Of course it took another full minute before I actually saw it due to the delay on MLB.TV (but it was worth the wait).

well, truth be told we drove to the Pru. We always do. It’s usually MUCH faster getting home. Parking is $15.00 with a ticket stub and it’s a nice walk/pedi cab trip to and from Fenway.

    Only way to go!

Oh, and I will (re?)post soon about my phone. I am very fond of it!

Those camera phone pics turned out pretty good! @Big Sister — totally jealous you have MLB.TV. Trying to justify that to my girlfriend. :)
