Project 365 // Day 122
I am such a pushover.
I got the turtle sandbox out of mothballs recently. Today I cleaned it up and off we went to get some play sand. They had nice 30 pound bags of plain old sand for about $2.00 a pop. But my older daughter batted her eyelashes and said “Please Daddy, I want the colored sand (@ six bucks a pop)”….
I put up (not much of) a struggle, but as you can see blue play sand it is.

I recently read that colored sand - blue in particular, as I recall - is a suspected contributor to several childhood neurological irregularities.

It’s the coolest thing to hit the sandbox this year ~ it’s Crayola colored play sand. I got mine at WalMart and they come in pink, green, purple as well as blue. Way to go Dad!!!
