Alright, here we go…
I was working online earlier this week and I saw a Twitter tweet (wait, don’t know what a tweet is, don’t know what Twitter is? Check out this first) from somebody I follow mention “Twit2Fit”. Being involved in my own “Fitter @ 40″ quest it peeked my interest. I clicked through to read that @JasonFalls had given birth to an idea of using Twitter to rally together with others who were looking to lose weight or just get healthier. You can read about Jason’s idea here.
I realize after the fact that I did a crumby job explaining Twit2Fit in my video, but you get the point (I hope). Just an easy way to chime in and give updates/support/ask questions etc of a small network of people who are interested in the same or similar goals.
I encourage anyone out there to get on board. You don’t need to be posting about your fitness journey, just jump in.
As you will note in Jason’s entry on his site, this is “The Twitter Wellness Experiment”. It might not take off, but I am betting it will and I will play along so long as it’s in the air.
As mentioned, Twitter Hashtags are being used to tie it all together on Twitter and that feeds into the #Twit2Fit timeline at Twemes.com. If you follow me on Twitter (@annoyingboring) you will probably start to see tweets with the #twit2fit tag.
So there you have it. I am down 2 pounds this week, still haven’t given Buff Dad it’s proper effort, but I am incorporating some of it into my daily routine. More on that next week perhaps. Stay tuned….

BRAVO! I’m a HUGE fan of the mail girl. I’m actually in need of one. Any ideas? (My six-week-old daughter told me to get it myself.)
Bravo on the two pounds, too. I’ve not weighed in this week yet, fearful of what I’ll see. Plus when I do weigh in, I’m hoping it’ll be more dramatic than just a day’s wait.
I”m telling everyone to come see the video. Hope a lot of folks do! Thanks for being a part of it all.

so, los campesinos? never heard of them, but i’d say they sound pretty awesome. remind me a bit of mates of state, which i’d totally recommend if you’re not familiar with them.

Wow, this week’s video requires an unexpected amount of reading and featured lots of jargon I simply don’t understand. And. what’s up with the absentee Mr. Scale: a contract dispute?
