Now, I know that I am still fairly new in really getting on board with the whole social networking type stuff, so many of you may already be ahead of me here… But, how cool is last.fm?
What? Some of you don’t know about last.fm? Well, here is the blurb from their faq’s…
Last.fm is a service that keeps track of what music you listen to, and then produces a large number of features personalized to you.
You can use Last.fm to listen to music, find out about artists you may like, other people with similar music taste, gigs in your local area, charts and quilts for your personal site, as well as much more.
What’s it mean? Well, to me it means this…. Since when I listen to music at home I usually listen to it on the computer, I love it. It keeps track of what I play, makes chart (the Annoyingly Boring Top 20?) allows me to share it with others, and the more I listen it can suggest more music that I might like.
It also means that I can throw a widget onto my blog showing what I have been listeing to recently. Check it out, it’s over there —–> somewhere.

I like last.fm, then I found Pandora and more recently Deezer which I find really cool..I must go back and see how last is doing!!
