Three days in a row now.
Three days in a row now I come downstairs to start the day, make breakfast for the kids, find socks or underwear, or whatever then need to be completely clothed, and turn on the computer only to find my site not working as it should.
Three days in a row now my blog is showing just a WordPress error page saying that the site can’t connect to the database.
Three days in a row now I log onto my site’s admin control panel and check service status to learn each day that sure enough the database server is down.
Three days in a row now I open a support ticket to let them know about the problem.
Three days in a row now my site seems to return to full function in about an hour or so.
Three days in a row now I don’t have a clue if it is coincidence, or if my support ticket helps alert them to the problem since I don’t hear back from them at all. Hell, I don’t even know if they have looked at any of my tickets.
Three days in a row now I say to myself that I need a new host when my contract is up.
Three days in a row now I hope that VizaWeb can keep it together for 24 hours.
OK, rant over.

[...] My host had to reinstall the mail server on my account as every day the last several my mail stopped getting to me. It seems that each day they had to reboot it, and finally they got sick of me reopening the same support ticket. It hasn’t been a great week for them. [...]

Dude that sucks! DadThing is my first hosted web site, but I think my host has been doing a good job. I haven’t had any problems. If you ever decide to change hosts check out http://bluehost.com Later!
