First off, I owe two memes now. If you tagged me, know I haven’t forgotten. I will knock them off tomorrow. Promise.
Next, a while back Kim from Jogging in Circles awarded me with an “E” for Excellence. Today Jason from Roth Family Adventures did the same. I have now added my badge of honor in my side bar. Part of the deal, is I am encouraged to share the award with 10 bloggers who I find excelling. I will have to go through to see if anyone out there has yet to be hit with the big E. Surely, I am late in the game with this one. Bottom of the barrel if you will. If I can find anyone, I will dole out some E’s myself this weekend
Third, something really cool happened today… I was looking at my blog’s stats (I am soooo totally fixated by them, I obsess over them) and I noticed a number of hits from Tucson, AZ and overall volume more than usual yesterday morning. Then I got the email… from the makers of Mr. Beer. They loved my video of me and the kids brewing and the whole darn office was checking it out. I got very nice comments from Peter, Debi & Brianna from Mr. Beer. They are sending me a Mr. Rootbeer kit so the kids can make root beer with dear old dad. Look for the video to roll for that too.
Finally, my wife is NOT BORING. My life with her is NOT BORING. In no way is the title of my blog any reflection on her. I chose the name, because I planned on blogging about the daily ins and outs of life, nothing special. Stuff that, to some people, might be considered boring. I chose the name because I thought it was catchy, would grab your attention. I chose it because I am quite found of self deprecation, and heck, although the url can’t have it, the name has a question mark at the end. I am not making a declaration, but leaving it up to my visitors to decide.

Free swag from the Mr. Beer folks. That’s cool.
Sometimes there are perks that come with this blogging thing. I’ve written about restaurants we visit and on numerous occasions I’ve received e-mails from owners/managers offering free meals and VIP treatment during out next visit.

Well, may it keep flowing.
My honesty kept me from getting more though. Where I had posted that my keg may have been leaking they offered a new keg if it was busted. It does not appear to be leaking, and I told them that. Oh well. I have a clear conscious.

DUDE! That’s awesome. The Mr. Beer video was excellent, and it’s so cool they took notice! I tried that a while back by plugging Cheez-It Stix, but they didn’t do crap. Not even a measly box of crackers.

Totally awesome! I’ve added you to my favs blog-list.
My hubby(Paulius) got a Mr. Beer Kit and even tho I DETEST the taste of beer I ended up drinking an entire bottle with him (and you know how big those bottles are) when he made his first batch and it was ready to drink. It actually had a very nice full bodied taste to it- not like store-bought brands that I compare to Weak Watery Horse-P*ss.(Or what I THINK WWHP would taste like anyway…..)
