We broke down and replaced my Ford Contour this week. We knew it was coming but still tough writing that check. Oh well, it’s nothing too fancy but the 2007 Taurus is a definite upgrade from the Contour. Cruise, Power Windows Locks & Seats, CD, all things the Contour didn’t have. A real trunk too. It has buckets in front so the whole family can’t fit in it but that is no change from the Contour. The Explorer will have to be the whole crew mobile still. With any luck this car might be John’s first car. Shudder!

Pat, what do you mean the Taurus won’t fit the whole family? C’mon, you drop that kind of coin then refuse to take advantage of the car’s, err, “real trunk”?

What do you mean a real trunk? I used to have a Contour too, the thing had a huge blue propane tank in the trunk! Cool car though, ran on either gas or propane. I did the calculations once and figured out it cost about as much a 2 dollar a gallon gas if I used the propane instead.
