Now Class, Open Your Books To Page 123

I was tagged today by Weezee, it was part of a sister act double team (oooh, now I feel dirty). I will deal with the second part of the double team tomorrow or Monday, but I digress…

Weezee let me have it with the page 123 meme. It’s pretty simple.

Instructions:

1. Pick up the nearest book ( of at least 123 pages).

2. Open the book to page 123.

3. Find the fifth sentence.

4. Post the next three sentences.

5. Tag five people. & post a comment here once you post it to your blog, so I can come see.

Here goes. First book was the Peterson Field Guide - Eastern Birds. Alas, page 123 is a full page of plovers and turnstones in flight. Next, shock of shocks… another bird book. National Audubon Society North American Birdfeeder Handbook. And it hits us with this…

The female is brown above, and the juvenile has scaly plumage. All have white patches on the wings and tail. Western birds, once called spotted towhees, have white wing bars and white flecks above.

Fascinating, no?

Wow! I’ve ACTUALLY NEVER done this one! Thanks for the tag I’ll add it to my list of meme’s…..I’ve somehow been a target lately It’s cool, I have 300-something more days left for Blog365!!!

LOL - the only reason I didn’t have to use a bird book was becasue the Photoshop Elements manual was on top of it. My bird books are never far away. Still waiting on the 6 quirks one I tagged ya with though
