Why did Belichick have to wear that unlucky bright red hoodie?

Have you ever seen so many eggs laid by so many different players and coaches?

What a completely and utterly unsatisfying season.

What a heck of a game! Best we’ve had in a long time. Well, keep a stiff upper lip and all, it’s just a game.

Well, it was shown in Guyana on local TV (surprising!) so I did get to watch - though I walked out of the room after Eli wriggled out of that sack (WTF!) and Tyree caught the ball on his helmet. That clearly was the proverbial “big play” so I knew nothing good could happen after that.

Rick is right - the first words out of my mouth when we turned the TV on: ” what the hell is Belichick wearing? Is he crazy, he is jinxing it!”

(Just wondering, did the offensive line miss the plane to Arizona?)

I am sort of glad I am not in Boston this week as the TV/radio/papers/office-hallway-talk will just be too depressing. By the time I return it should be buried and we will be anticipating “pitchers and catchers” any day.

12 days to pitchers and catchers sis, 12 days!

Sorry about the pats. But what a game! Go Eli!

oh, and I have to go yell at a neighbor. Every week they put a big inflatable Patriots lawn ornament out for game day. This week it was CLEARLY in the wrong location, a good 15-20 feet out of it’s normal location. This and the hoody choice were insurmountable.

Sorry. Though I had nothing to do with it, because I am not much of a football fan, but I do live in NY, so I feel a little responsible. I’m a Mets fan actually, so I don’t what the hell I’m apologizing for.

I’m so ashamed that I missed the game on television. It’s sacrilegious.

I took this potentially glorious day to teach my kid the rules of football. First, I discovered it’s too complicated to teach a 5 year old. He kept wondering why the yellow line kept disappearing off the field. Then, around the time you took that second picture, he was in agony (that’s the best way to describe going “ooohh!!” and writhing in my arms) that “his team” was going to lose.
