Real dugouts? Wow, fancy! In our town the kids brought big thermos containers filled from the tap to help them survive sitting on splintered benches baking under the direct sun.
Do they play on a grass infield too? Maybe a future picture…

No sunflower seeds? Or big tubs of Double Bubble? Just what are you teaching these kids - they are doomed if they ever make it to The Show.
Seriously, that is one awesome photo….it is quietly eloquent. I think Walt Whitman would love it.
On this Fenway Opening Eve let me quote said Bard of Camden: “I see great things in baseball. It’s our game–the American game. It will take our people out-of-doors, fill them with oxygen, give them a larger physical stoicism. Tend to relieve us from being a nervous, dyspeptic set. Repair these losses, and be a blessing to us.”
AMEN.
