Thanks to the wonder that is Skype, my Mom speaks to my sister for the first time since sis moved to Guyana.
Now, all I have to do is get my butt over to Mom and Dad’s to get their Skype set up.

yes, Skype is a great thing
my neighbour´s son is in Canada and I often wake up on the noise of Skype ring 
somehow the walls are not very heavy

That’s great..It’s amazing how many of our parents, mine are 78 and 79 yrs old, have become so savvy, after a litlle training. using the internet..A technology I don’t think they ever imagined!! Good luck with the set up

mom didn’t actually make any comments re: the one shoe diaries pic, but I did get asked about it by my brother in law.
I am really fond of that shot(obviously - since I used it as desktop wallpaper) .
