I’ve had to cover up my little sprouts with mulch again… weatherman says we are in for a … wait for it… WINTER storm!
Um. Isn’t it Spring??? My poor babies gonna get snowed on…

Yeah, now see? That’s what I thought peonies were supposed to look like. Ours look … well … shorter. I don’t get it. Different variety perhaps?
