Project 365 // Day 285 v2.0

285/365 v2.0 (by Pat Glennon)

Hand held at 1.6 seconds (albeit leaning against a wall) in a darkened conference room at work Friday night. I have done similar shots in the past, but I am always drawn to it on a Friday. People on the left (headlights coming towards us) are streaming out of Boston. Rushing to get home perhaps. Those on the right (tailights) are headed into the city. The Celtics were playing, there were bands to see play, art to take in, cocktails to enjoy, hospitals to get to, flights to catch…. so many stories.

Some day I’d love to get on the roof of my work building with a tripod, but I doubt it will ever come to be. I’d even go in on my off day. I wonder who could make that happen.

I was already going to get it cleaned, but having a three year old sneeze into my camera while I was inspecting the innards pretty much sealed the deal!

I picked up my beer and look what was under the pint glass! Awesome. Only had my phone with me at the time (the camera was in the trunk of the car and I couldn’t be bothered to go get it. Gotta upload this one to WTFace.

Just 100 days left in my second year of posting a photo a day!

Took a quick ride down to Cohasset to locate the South Shore Arts Center as I will be taking a class there starting Sunday. After finding it I went down to the waterfront to take a few photos. Regan wasn’t all that fond me sneaking in just a couple more after we had already loaded into the car to go. But a seagull asked me to take a couple last shots

Project 365 // Day 214 v2.0

214/365 v2.0 (by Pat Glennon)

Woke up Thursday morning to a flat tire on the Taurus. Oh well, life happens.

Opened the trunk grabbed the jack and the spare (still partially asleep). Jacked up the car took off the flat and reached for the spare only to realize then that it too was flat!

Thankfully my wife was flexible and was able to work from home in the morning while I took the two tires to get repaired/inflated.

When life hands you lemons, take a photo!

Project 365 // Day 147 v2.0

147/365 v2.0

We went to the Pawtucket Red Sox game yesterday and watched the PawSox lose to the Syracuse Chiefs. On the way home we passed a Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee car. Seeing that the PawSox, Red Sox and US Soccer team all lost in the span of about an hour, the coffee car was the highlight of the drive home.
