Title vs. Address

I titled my blog Annoyingly Boring back at the start. I registered the domain a short while later. Now I think I have successfully accomplished convergence.

Yup, I think I am starting to finally understand WordPress a little bit… a little bit.

Anyway, I think I have successfully updated the url, or address, of my blog as WordPress sees and deals with it. I think it is now ‘officially’ Annoyingly Boring, as in www.annoyinglyboring.com. You could get here by entering that before, but that wasn’t the address that showed up in the address bar when you did.

You should be seeing annoyinglyboring.com everywhere now. If you notice somewhere it looks out of sorts, or see the patglennon.net url just let me know. I would appreciate it.

Yeah, all feeds should still work. And that should be the case permanently

Oh, and a followup request regarding the re-stage - could you please let us know if your stealth inclusion of the word ‘ho’ in your web page title successfully increases your traffic? Thanks again.

You’re right, I AM seeing annoyinglyboring.com everywhere. I was just at the grocery store and saw it next to the Enquirer in the check out lane.

@ Rick - I can’t say how it will affect your time here. Also, I have actually changed ‘ho-hum’ to ‘mundane’ so sadly I will not be able to provide an analysis of traffic due the ‘ho effect’

@ Russ - Thanks, I like WP, never really used Blogger so I can’t compare too much. I like to be self hosted - seems to give me a fair amount of flexibility. But yeah, blogger is probably all most people need.
