Either way… here is this week’s entry…
The #twit2fit activity on Twitter has slowed a bit after the initial buzz, but I am sticking with it and trying to post #twit2fit updates regularly.
This week I talk about my exercise regimen a bit. Most of this journey has been heavy on diet and light on exercise. Recent days have seen a reversal in that trend. I find myself being a bit lazy when it comes to food choices, but picking up the activity level. I have been on the treadmill more regularly, been working with dumbbells and my stability ball, and making sure my crunches and push ups are getting done. The result is pretty much the same in terms of weight loss (still hovering) but I am feeling some changes in my fitness so I don’t feel too bad about that.
For what it’s worth any loss/gain within a pound or two I don’t consider statistically relevant.
I answer a couple view mail questions and fulfill a request in some fashion. I will try to be more responsive in upcoming offerings in terms of working in comments/suggestions etc.
As always don’t forget to check out the other guys that I’ve been doing this with… Scott, Jim, Jeremy, & Nuke Dad.
This week the music is not new. While I usually try to pick something that has been released in the last few weeks or months, this week I set the way back machine to 1991 and dragged out Ned’s Atomic Dustbin.

Dude, I’ve got the exact same dumbbells - 25 lb and 10 lb. No stability ball though, and I think I would have to fight my kids for that thing. Thanks for answering my question, and while I’m not a huge fan of stuffed olives, I can totally relate to salt cravings. Keep up the great work man!

Woot! I feel like a celeb now!! Thanks PG; was it really dorky for me to wave at you when you mentioned my name?
Yeah. It was.
But I did.
Loved the vid as usual; I always wondered why you needed to sit on a ball… I thought maybe it was for yoga only.
Cool bug’s eye view at the end… and your floors are still cleaner than mine.

Got the same ball and dumbells! I guess because we have the same book. But anyway…
I have to echo your Beat LA sentiments. The only time I was ever really into basketball was during the Celts/Lakers 80’s rivalry. I just won’t say it too loud amongst all the yellow jerseys I see around here.

My work connection is all screwed up so the video got cut short.. but I have to agree I go for salty food over sweet anyday. It looks like everyone owns that same balance ball.

My husband and I are trying to lose weight and get fit so we have been walking every day around 5 AM. I try to make healthier food choices but some days are harder than others. Hang in there!

HEY! How do I join the W8Loss Wednesday group? Am I allowed in?
Last year, I lost 60 pounds (mostly by running and diet) and then had a very serious leg issue. Half the weight has come back on and it is getting VERY difficult to climb out of this rut again….and again…and again.
Whatever the case, good luck with it!

Try those dumb bell curls with your feet further away from the ball than you show in the beginning of the video. That will max out the core stability aspect.
Mmmmmmm. Gorgonzolla.
