Back to the future a bit this week as I (clumsily) discuss history and how i got to where I am at.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I would not be doing this video series if not for Scott Townsend. Thanks Scott.
Some information that might be useful if you aren’t already in the know….
I am 6′5″
According to the BMI Index (bollocks?) I am overweight unless I am at or under under 210lbs
When I started doing videos I was at 230lbs.
I do the videos with the hope of entertaining, but also a big part of it is accountability. I need to get in front of the world to weigh in.
Several weeks ago a very kind blogger sent me the Buff Dad book. I have been trying to stick to at least the workout regimen.
Overall I am employing a (somewhat slacker version of) Weight Watchers Flex Plan techniques. I don’t go t meetings, I am not a member, but I keep an eye on points.
If I didn’t lose another pound, but kept getting healthier/fitter I would be super cool with that.
The W8 Loss Wednesday idea was born of Scott Townsend.
The Twit2Fit idea was born of Jason Falls.
That should cover it. Any other questions, let me know! I dig comments.
Music this week from The Fratellis

PG! I’m back on the wagon. Kinda… I have 2 straight weeks of adult beverages to make up for. Yikes. I’ll be back on w8loss wed in due time. I’m working on my Epic China Trip video right now and that’s going to take up some major time. 2 hours?? yikes. When’s the DVD W8loss Wed Season 1 coming out?

You should also mention that a pound of muscle will burn more calories than a pound of fat. The more muscle you have the better you burn those unwanted calories.
Great job as always. Like your feet said “keep at it.”

I admire your commitment. I kind of wish I had seen the writing on the wall when I was 35. But I’m a slow reader so I don’t know if it would have changed anything.

A sleeveless T-shirt? That’s the look you’re going for? Ugh.

Ha “adult beverage”!!
Lurve the T!
Good for you for having a 5 year plan. My plans are about 5 minutes ahead of time, max. I could never plan that far ahead (never mind trying to STICK to it!)
Which reminds me; in about 5 minutes I need to go make brekky for everyone…
