Project 365 // Day 128
Years ago my mother-in-law, well before she was my mother-in-law, started giving me gag gifts with pig themes.
Pig salt and pepper shakers, pig ties, pig boxer shorts (yup always fun getting boxer shorts from your girlfriend’s mother), you name it. Generally the rule of thumb is that it had to be tacky and it had to be cheap.
Apparently my wife’s been taking notes. Today, for no particular reason aside from because she saw it for sale, my wife gifted me with a Mardi Gras pig necklace. Sweet!

Har! I have seen Mardi Gras beads before, but never one with a pig! I think I would be wondering WHY exactly people would be giving me pigs as gifts….
