19th Hole (261/365)

Project 365 // Day 261

261/365

Grandfather and Grandson enjoy a moment in the clubhouse after the annual church golf outing.

We only played 9, so I guess technically it was the 10th hole, but 19th hole is the term, so I’m sticking with it.

I played in a foursome with my mother-in-law, and my 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter.  A cool, breezy day with a lot of walking took its toll on my daughter and she had a bit of a meltdown on the 5th hole.  Had to carry her most of the rest of the way.  But aside from that everyone did well.

I lost a buck to my son on the last hole as he beat me on the hole.  The kid put it within 10 feet of the pin on his drive. I didn’t even hit the green.

Hell no! No son of mine will drink that crap…. but it is his Cardinal’s hat on the table. So the matter of taste is still in question I guess.
