Random Postlets Part III

In what seems to be shaping up to be an planned twice annual event I am back with some quick hit stuff that haven’t yet or won’t ever mature into full posts…

First up, 2009 Bloggie Awards. Sadly I am not among the finalists for anything but I do have some friends who are. I ask you go on over and show them some voting love. All you need is a couple minutes and an email address.  Go vote for Secret Agent Mama for photography, MagnetoBoldToo! for Australian/NZ, Whiskey in My Sippy Cup for Canadian. You don’t have to vote for all the categories so just make sure to vote for those fine ladies.

Next up is a prayer request. A while back, I posted about Angie O’Neil and her blog KEEP BELIEVING. Her husband Brian, as you may recall, is fighting a battle against brain cancer. Things are not going well at all. The cancer is winning. If you have any sort of relationship with a higher power, please life up Angie, Brian and the whole family up in payer. And I am sure Angie would appreciate it if you could also swing by her site and let her know that you are thinking of them.

No promises, but there’s a glimmer of hope for those of you who seemed to have been foolish enough to enjoy my video posts. I am seriously considering rolling film to do a debriefing type post when my Project 365 wraps up at the beginning of next month. Stay tuned.

Coming Soon! Look for the first ever Annoyingly Boring? giveaway.  I have been given a piece of kids entertainment/educational software to let the kids use and then post about and the publisher also gave me a second copy to give away.

That’s all for now.

  1. I am SO looking forward to your debriefing video of your 365!

Will keep Brian in my thoughts and prayers. Brain cancer beat a 2nd cousin of mine last year. Wishing all the best for Brian.

  2. Thanks for the link love.

Brian and I have been deeply talking lately, naturally. I asked him if he was scared. No. without hesitation. without thinking. Just No. Not afraid of dying. Not afraid of going to meet Jesus.

“Then YOU WIN.” I told him. Cancer didn’t win. You win. In the end, we are all going to die. How we go out is going to be one of the truest tests of our character. Brian does not disappoint still. No, he amazes even me.

Angies last blog post..As if I keep reading it, then somehow….
