It’s been going on all summer, but first I didn’t know about it and then schedules just didn’t work out, but this Friday I will be taking the good folks at the Highland Street Foundation up on their offer.
You see, the Highland Street Foundation has funded what they are calling Free Fun Fridays. Free admission to family friendly destinations in and around Boston. Previous weeks had free entry to the Museum of Science, Franklin Park Zoo and the JFK Library. Future Fridays feature Plimoth Plantation, Stone Zoo and the Museum of Fine Arts.
This week the freebie is at the Boston Children’s Museum. I haven’t been into the Children’s Museum a quite a few years and the kids will appreciate a change of scenery for sure. Oh, and maybe I’ll take a photo or two.
Total savings thanks to the freebie for me and the four kids is $48. Sounds good to me.
If you live in these parts it’s worth a visit. Maybe next week I’ll drag the kids to Plimoth Plantation, I haven’t been there since I was a kid!
Oh, and a solid tip of the cap to my Aunt Mary for filling me in on the program.
