Welcome LedgerLand, And Now I Present… My Worst Photo Ever? (201/365 v2.0)

Project 365 // Day 201 v2.0

201/365 v2.0 (by Pat Glennon)

More press this morning as The Patriot Ledger has a profile of four South Shore bloggers on the front page of the LedgerLand section.

A nice little write up and a photo. The head shot that they used was taken by my son Aiden. He got a photo credit in the online piece but not in the paper. Oh well.

If you are new around here you will notice that as the piece mentions, each day I post a new photo taken that day. Sometimes I don’t post the previous day’s photo until the next day (as is the case here) but each day I am shooting.

Yesterday was my wife’s birthday and this is a closeup of the card I got to go with her gift. I was playing around with my camera’s settings and shot this in very low light. Usually I have auto ISO on and limited to 800, but I had ISO manually set to 3200 for this shot.

Frankly, a terrible shot but some days are like that.  I swear that sometimes I take some really good photos! Honest!

It took me 37 years to get a photo of mine published in the newspaper. It took him just nine!

  1. You always want the “bragging rights” of noting such things as “It took me 37 years to get a photo of mine published in the newspaper. It took him just nine!”, PG. It’s a win for him, a win for you.

That is, after all, what we’re ‘posed to be doing for our offspring.

    The stuff of memories ….

Congrats, again, on the rag nod …..
