Planning The Show (227/365 v2.0)

Project 365 // Day 227 v2.0

227/365 v2.0 (by Pat Glennon)

I made a pledge to myself at the beginning of the year that i would do “something more” with my photography.

A few months into the year I decided a good way to do that would be to contact my town’s library and see if they would have interest in showing my work as part of their “Arts in the Rotunda” program.

I procrastinated. It’s what I do.

Finally I made the call earlier this week. Tonight I heard back from the coordinator.

There was a opening almost right away!

From October 5 through the 30th my photos will be on display at the Rockland Memorial Library. Tonight I began the process of seeing what prints I have, what prints I want to show and what prints I still need to get done.

Look for much more hype of the event in the next couple of weeks. I think that October 6 will see a Meet the Artist reception at the library from 6:00-7:00. I’d love to see you there if you are local. Now all I have to to is make sure I can get that night off from work!

  1. Saw the story in the Enterprise and came to check out your site. I know how you must be feeling, having pushed myself to do a show in a local coffee shop last winter. It’s a lot of work, but well worth it. Good luck. Your pix are beautiful.
