Baseball Cap & Shadows (276/365 v2.0)

Project 365 // Day 276 v2.0

276/365 v2.0 (by Pat Glennon)

I recently asked for input on ideas for a 20 photo project I could do. I received many solid suggestions – but still none have really grabbed me.

Two of the suggestions were i) baseball caps and ii) shadows.

I was standing in the kitchen yesterday afternoon and I saw my bulldogs cap on the floor in a spot where a shaft of sunlight was pouring in.  I don’t think I will do either shadows or ball caps for my project, but it turned out to be a pretty cool shot.

  1. Interesting shot. What if you did New England architecture for your project? I grew up in CT and every time we go home I just love looking at the houses as they just have so much character. That way you can also incorporate some HDR images(I know you said you aren’t happy with your most recent but this gives you a reason to play around more). Just a thought.

  2. Some thoughts on a theme….

Cars (can range from toys to real, parts, exhaust, gas stations, etc.)

Beer (bottles, caps, labels, bars, stools, etc.)

Signs/Letters/Words – this could be fun to incorporate things that appear to be forming letters/words as well as actual signage.

All Things Small – I know you’ve done some really cool things with macro.

    Good Luck!
